Fan Area Favorite: The Well Personal Fitness
If your goal is to hit the gym more in 2020, you’re not alone. But as most gyms can attest, by Valentine’s Day most fitness resolutions fall by the wayside. Sound familiar?
Aubrey Eicher, founder of The Well Personal Fitness, knows firsthand how challenging personal transformation can be. Growing up, she wasn’t the varsity athlete or the avid jogger. It wasn’t until she started training for races as an adult that she truly started to understand the relationship shared among exercise, mental wellness, and nutrition. And once she pieced it together, she opened up shop in 2014 in the Fan to help others do the same.
The Well Personal Fitness is about more than lifting weights. The Certified Personal Trainers at The Well take a holistic approach to improving their clients’ health. Most of the time, trainers work with clients one on one and create customized plans to help them reach their unique goals. The team understands that a one-size-fits-all approach just doesn’t work for many people.
Aubrey and her team encourage new clients to join them for their proven six-month program. The program is suitable for all fitness levels and your trainer will cater it to best fit where you are currently and where you’d like to be in the future. The Well partners with you, holds you accountable, and focuses on sustainable lifestyle changes so that this time next year, you won’t be starting from scratch.
If you’re interested in finally sticking with a health program, get in touch with the team at The Well. They’re running a special on their six-month program to kick off 2020 on a healthier note.
A few questions from our interview with Aubrey at The Well:
Q. What was your No. 1 reason for joining FABA?
A.“To connect with the community more, particularly as a business. The amount of interesting people and business owners in the Fan is incredible, interesting, and something I really enjoy being a part of. I work here and I live here. I’ve lived in a lot of different places around Richmond since originally coming here in 2002. The Fan has been my favorite place hands down, without disrespect to the other places I have resided in around Richmond!”
Q. What skills or expertise do you bring to the table that other FABA members could benefit from?
A. “I do a lot with social media, a lot of people find us on the internet. [With social media,] there’s always more to be learned… it’s never ending, and of course, it changes and you’ve got to be spry enough to hop around and figure out what’s going to be effective.”
Q. What area of your business do you hope to grow through your partnership with FABA?
A.“I really want to be a more prominent staple in the Fan with what we do. It’s not just about the clients that we work with but the overall impact that we have locally… We want to be a huge positive to the community.”
